SM Free Movie Marathon Post Review

I jumpstarted the first day of graduation month (in Philippines) with a bang! Together with my friends, we watched a FREE movie marathon sponsored by SM Cinema. The movie screening was available in all SM Cinemas nationwide. Five new movies were opened to public. The selected movies were really great.

The movie marathon started at 11AM and ended at 10:30PM. Five movies in a row in one sitting that had me ass cramps at SM Sta. Rosa.

Featured movies were The Nut Job, I Frankenstein, The Right Kind of Wrong, Vampire Academy and The Wolf of Wall Street. Not really bad after all.

The fact that I only paid a total of P230 (P150 for SM Advantage Card and P80 for ePlus card) is really worth the value. I really had fun and I saved few bucks since attention has been diverted to the movie, not eating LOL.

Our entree to the movie marathon was The Nut Job - a cartoon movie about a squirrel looking for nuts to give to his clan. I Frankenstein is a science fiction movie based on a famous novel by Mary Shelley.

The third movie was a romantic comedy about a guy who conquers his fears for his girl that he fell in love with on the girl's wedding day. I was quite not so amused with Vampire Academy as the story lacks interest over time. In fact I took a nap in minutes.

The sweetest part of all is the dessert called The Wolf of Wall Street. Nothing could go wrong with the finale, as they say.

The story was all about a small time stockbroker who rose to become a multimillionaire in Wall Street in three months! His prominence was greatly recognized in the financial world particularly in Forbes and Time magazine.

Vanity, money, sex, drugs, stock market and sales were the common portrayals of the movie. What I like most about it was his sales strategy when he got a number of clients persuaded to invest in penny stocks, which is really my interest - stock market.

The event was really a good move by SM for their promotion and evaluation of the ePlus card. Sure there will always be another nice treats so better extend our ears out or improve our sniffs for upcoming promos.
